EGG DONOR COMPENSATION
Egg donors do not “sell” their eggs to us, as it is illegal for them to do so in the states of New York and Connecticut. However, our donors receive a taxable amount for each completed cycle in compensation for their time, risk, and effort in donating their eggs.
The amount of egg donor compensation paid varies on a case-by-case basis. Typically, an egg donor fee will range from $8,000 to $12,000. Those egg donors who have previously cycled or have exceptional qualities may be paid a higher compensation.
As an egg donor, your prospective parent is responsible for all egg donor costs and expenses incurred as a result of an egg donation cycle. All egg donor expenses are paid, including:
- Medical Expenses
- Egg Donor Insurance
- Egg Donor Compensation
- Attorney Fees
- Travel Expenses
For egg donors who have to travel, compensation is also provided for these expenses:
- Airfare for the egg donor and a traveling companion
- Hotel accommodations (shared room for egg donor and companion)
- Ground transportation compensation
- Up to $100 per diem
